Grief can feel like a burden and is a heavy thing to carry. Often it feels maybe awkward or uncomfortable to talk about our grief with others, especially when people in our lives might not understand how hard it is to have a beloved pet die.
We spend so much time with our pets, caring for them and making sure to give them a full and happy life. It is normal to want to honor that relationship and that unconditional love.
This is a deep dive into my Keloland Living segment on Pet Remembrance. We’ll talk about why saying “goodbye” is so hard, ways to remember and honor our relationship, and how to get or give help with grief.
